Senior Revenue Accountant Location:
Bellevue, WA (Hybrid) Salary $135,200 - $149,760 annually Why This Opportunity Stands Out Join a growing technology-focused organization where revenue accounting plays a highly visible role in supporting strategic business decisions. This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations while taking ownership of critical revenue accounting processes. You'll have the chance to influence process improvements, strengthen controls, and work with modern financial systems in a collaborative hybrid environment based in Bellevue. Key Responsibilities Review customer contracts, amendments, statements of work (SOWs), purchase orders, and reseller agreements to ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606. Analyze performance obligations, service periods, contract modifications, variable consideration, and other revenue accounting matters. Own month-end revenue activities, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, unbilled accounts receivable, customer deposits, and account reconciliations. Review and maintain revenue and billing schedules within Workday, investigating variances and resolving system-related issues. Partner with Sales, Legal, Service Delivery, and Finance teams to resolve contract and accounting questions while supporting audits, reporting, process improvements, and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. Experience reviewing customer contracts and performing revenue accounting in a SaaS, technology, software, or services-based environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (Workday preferred), account reconciliations, financial analysis, and month-end close processes.
