What Makes This Role Different Low-volume, high-touch client work Direct involvement in client conversations and planning Less than 50 hours during busy season Tight-knit, supportive team environment Tech-forward firm that embraces modern tools and new technology to work smarter and serve clients better Hybrid schedule available after a proven training period Flexible scheduling options for family commitments, appointments, and school schedules 4-Day work week (four 10-hour days) available Summer schedule options available After a proven training period, hybrid is available What You'll Do Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns Participate in client meetings and explain tax concepts clearly Identify planning opportunities and follow through Communicate with clients throughout the year Collaborate with a small, high-performing team and strong support staff Who This Is For 5+ years experience of tax return preparation Comfortable working directly with clients Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things right Wants to move beyond pure compliance into advisory Who This Is NOT For Prefer high-volume, fast-turn work over quality Not interested in client interaction Looking for fully remote work Qualifications 5+ years experience of tax return preparation Strong background in complex individual and business returns CPA highly preferred (EA or equivalent experience considered) Our Environment We are a values-driven firm focused on integrity, stewardship, and long-term relationships.
