Why This Role Rocks As Senior Accountant - G&A Events, you'll sit at the intersection of finance and some of the company's most high‑profile moments. You'll own the financial integrity of large‑scale, high‑visibility events—partnering closely with event leaders, finance teammates, and leadership to ensure accuracy, transparency, and strong controls. If you enjoy turning complex data into clear insights and want your work to directly support experiences seen by thousands, this role delivers impact, visibility, and variety. •This is a hybrid position that is based on site at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky What's On Your Plate Own accounting and reporting for 25+ annual events with 9,000+ attendees Ensure accurate recording of event expenses, accruals, prepaids, and reserves Reconcile event budgets to actuals and clearly explain variances Support financial planning and cost tracking across multiple large‑scale events Lead month‑end close activities for event accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations Serve as the primary accounting partner for event owners and internal stakeholders Maintain strong internal controls and a clean, well‑supported balance sheet Analyze monthly income statement and quarterly balance sheet activity tied to events Prepare clear, concise financial summaries for leadership Provide on‑site accounting support for select major events, as needed Support annual G&A events budgeting, audits, special projects, and general G&A needs Handle sensitive, nonpublic information with discretion Your Recipe for Success Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of accounting experience with strong data management and analysis skills Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Microsoft D365 and Power BI is a plus Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance
