Your role at Kanadevia Inova directly contributes to turning something once considered useless - waste - into something invaluable: energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and beyond. Job Description Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to help ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Perform accounts receivable, intercompany, cash management, bank reconciliation, and payroll-related accrual activities under established procedures. Prepare and analyze job cost, project budget, accrual, and variance reports, escalating unusual items and supporting project and business decisions. Maintain accounting records and supporting schedules for fixed assets, leases, inventory, taxes, and licensing in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements. Prepare ad-hoc analyses and audit support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting process and system improvements. Qualifications Relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction or project accounting within a medium to large organization; exposure to project cost structures and controlling is a plus. Working knowledge of GAAP and experience using ERP systems such as Sage 300 or a similar platform. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and communicate findings clearly. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with an interest in using digital, AI, and automation tools to improve efficiency. Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

$65,647.70 - $79,059.60 per year
