Affton, MO Onsite with flexibility Our client, a stable and growing privately held company in the St. Louis area, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience across Accounts Payable, Payroll, Inventory Costing, and General Accounting while gaining exposure to an ERP implementation and long-term career growth. •This person will start out focusing on AP and payroll but then take on AR and additional accounting functions. Possibly to be promoted to Assistant Controller. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable, vendor payments, and account reconciliations Eventually take over all accounts receivables Administer weekly payroll and support employee benefit programs Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close Support inventory costing and inventory-related accounting activities Assist with ERP implementation, testing, and process improvements Maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred Experience with accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting Understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and reconciliations ERP experience preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or inventory experience is a plus Why Join?
