Job Description

Staff Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments. Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts. Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for management review. Analyze financial data and investigate accounting discrepancies. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Support external audits and provide requested documentation. Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records. Assist with process improvements and special projects as assigned. Hybrid Schedule Option Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
