full-time Staff Accountant - Westbrook, Maine (hybrid) An industrial manufacturer is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is remote flexible with and offers exposure to a broad range of accounting functions. It reports to the Accounting Manager and provides direct support to their CFO. Responsibilities Support the monthly close process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Assist with inventory and work-in-process (WIP) tracking and reconciliations. Process payroll and prepare related reporting. Partner with project managers to support project setup and financial tracking activities. Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting. Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects as needed. Provide ad-hoc support on accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (related fields are ok) 1-3+ years of accounting experience Knowledge of

U.S. GAAP

Payroll processing experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables. Experience with ERP systems is a plus Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus
