Help drive the financial success of our healthcare operations. We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to make an impact beyond the spreadsheet. In this role, you'll partner with facility leaders and corporate teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, payroll processing, and account management that supports quality care across 70+ skilled nursing locations in Texas. Assist with variance analysis. Prepare monthly financial statements, analyses, and reporting packages. Prepare general ledger journal entries and complete monthly bank reconciliations. Process payroll for assigned facilities while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Partner with facility leadership by providing financial guidance and serving as the primary accounting contact. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies. Maintain strong communication with assigned facilities and corporate departments. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance , or Business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance is required. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships across departments. This position is remote; however, Staff Accountants must reside within 150 miles of the Victoria Corporate office for training and regular meetings. Share job details to
