Description Corporate Accountant Hybrid | Tecumseh, MI Direct Hire Opportunity A well-established global manufacturing organization is partnering with our firm to identify a Corporate Accountant to join their growing finance/ accounting team. This is a high-visibility role supporting corporate accounting, consolidation, and fixed assets within a multi-site, international environment. Position Overview Reporting to corporate accounting leadership, the Corporate Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, monthly close, global consolidations, and fixed asset accounting. This individual will partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and plant leadership to support accurate financial reporting and capital planning initiatives. Key Responsibilities + Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and ownership + Maintain and review financial records in compliance with GAAP + Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes + Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances + Manage the global fixed asset and capital request processes + Assist with financial analysis related to capital investments, including IRR/NPV modeling + Execute monthly consolidations and support intercompany accounting activities + Participate in forecasting, reforecasting, and annual planning cycles + Contribute to internal controls, policies, and process improvements + Collaborate with plant and engineering teams on financial initiatives + Support audits and special projects as needed
Requirements Qualifications Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline + 3+ years of progressive accounting experience + Experience preparing and analyzing financial data for management + Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency + Hands-on experience with an ERP system + Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
