•We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. This position will support a broad range of accounting operations, with a strong focus on accounts receivable, billing, customer collections, transaction processing, and month-end close. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external customers. You'll play an important role in ensuring accurate financial transactions, timely collections, and efficient accounting processes. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Controller. What You'll Be Responsible For Accounts Receivable & Billing Manage customer billing processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Monitor accounts receivable aging and support customer collection efforts. Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries. Review customer account information for accuracy and completeness. Resolve finance-related support tickets, including billing discrepancies and payment issues. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve customer account questions. Transaction Processing Process bill and card transactions through Zip. Process and properly code bank transactions in NetSuite, including reconciliations. Process travel and expense transactions through Navan. Maintain organized documentation and audit-ready financial records. Month-End Close Support Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including: Cash reconciliations. Accounts Payable support. Fixed asset tracking and reconciliations. Prepaid expense schedules and amortization. Flux analysis and variance explanations. Other accounting and close-related activities as needed. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of accounting experience, with accounts receivable experience strongly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas. Experience with NetSuite is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage deadlines in a remote environment. A proactive mindset and willingness to collaborate across departments.
