Team:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team in our Family Office. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting experience and will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. What will be your responsibilities within
IBKR:
Financial Reporting & Analysis Assist in preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Analyze financial data and provide insights to management Ensure compliance with
GAAP/IFRS
standards Assist in the preparation of management reports General Accounting Manage general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations Process journal entries and ensure accurate recording of transactions Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation Review expense reports and vendor invoices Month-End & Year-End Close Lead month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare and post-closing entries Ensure timely completion of all closing activities Coordinate with other family office members to gather necessary information Audit & Compliance Assist with external audits Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Support tax preparation and planning activities Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes Implement best practices and internal controls Assist in the development and documentation of accounting procedures What required skill's you need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA candidate or pursuing CPA certification (preferred) 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience Experience with month-end close processes Proficiency in general ledger accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Archway, or similar) Familiarity with ERP systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Team player with ability to work independently Company Benefits & Perks Competitive salary, annual performance-based bonus and stock grant Retirement plan 401(k) with competitive company match Excellent health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, and vision benefits.
