Job Description:

Hiring for a Staff Accountant to join a growing team with a large professional services organization in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role is a hybrid opportunity and is an excellent fit for someone with 1-2+ years of accounting experience and non-profit industry background. This is a hybrid opportunity - 2-3 days onsite. Responsibilities Prepare bank deposits Assist with reconciliations and journal entries Assist with grant accounting functions Enter and code invoices into the system Research accounting discrepancies Assist with AP, AR and payroll functions, as needed Prepare for year-end audit Prepare Excel reports for management Skills 1-2+ years of general ledger accounting Non-profit industry experience a plus Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred Advanced Excel - vlookups and pivot tables are a plus Accuracy and attention to detail
