Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
- To ensure accuracy of financial data; to maintain and analyze data; to prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries and general ledger (GL) account reconciliation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Reconciles sub-ledgers to GL; prepares monthly journal entries and GL accounts. + Assists in month-end close and consolidation process, financial report and audit process. + Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as directed. + Maintains and analyzes balance sheet accounts and ensures they are accurately stated; conducts timely account reconciliations. + Performs client audits and reporting.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Performs other duties as assigned. + Supports the organization's quality program(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Licensing
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent preferred. Accounting courses preferred.
- Experience
- Four (4) years accounting and/or financial analysis experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
- Skills & Knowledge
- + Strong oral and written communication skills.
