TEMPORARY STAT

accountant with insurance and reinsurance industry experience. This is a hybrid role, 3/2.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file annual and quarterly financial statements under Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) or local jurisdiction guidelines. Reconcile US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) records with statutory books and maintain balance sheet reconciliations Performing risk management, and analyzing and reconciling reinsurance Ensuring accounts comply with contracts, and maintaining compliance with internal and state requirements Compile supplementary filings, evaluate financial operations, and calculate Risk-Based Capital (RBC) where applicable. Communicating issues and trends to management, and engaging with clients and internal business partners

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, and relevant experience. Insurance industry experience.
