Job DescriptionJob Description Position Overview A Tax Accountant opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in individual, trust, and business tax preparation. This role is centered on delivering accurate, timely, and strategic tax services while building long-term client relationships through year-round advisory support. The position offers a mix of technical tax work, client interaction, and collaboration with financial and legal professionals. Core Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, trust, and business tax returns, including 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 filings Assist with tax planning strategies, compliance matters, and IRS correspondence Partner with fiduciaries, attorneys, and financial advisors on complex tax matters Ensure all filings meet accuracy, confidentiality, and deadline requirements Support clients with year-round tax guidance and problem-solving Ideal Background 3+ years of hands-on tax preparation experience Proficiency with Drake, UltraTax, QuickBooks, or comparable accounting software CPA or EA credential preferred, though not required Experience with trust and estate tax work is a strong advantage Benefits & Growth Performance-based bonus opportunities 401(k) retirement benefits Hybrid work schedule flexibility Continuing education and professional development support
