•We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic financial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support organizational growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of financial projects, including governmental and non-profit accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial statement preparation. The CPA will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting audits, and advising on complex accounting issues. Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements. Conduct general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and cash flow analysis. Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to maintain precise financial records. Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), securities law, governmental accounting standards, and other regulatory frameworks. Oversee financial reporting activities, including regulatory filings and internal management reports. Utilize financial software such as PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, Quicken, and other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for data entry and analysis. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives by leveraging Excel data analysis tools like VLOOKUP functions and spreadsheet modeling. Assist with auditing procedures by preparing documentation, supporting audit inquiries, and ensuring adherence to audit standards. Mentor junior staff members in technical accounting practices, regulatory compliance, and software utilization. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations related to non-profit organizations, private equity transactions, and corporate finance. Experience

•A minimum of three years of professional experience in public accounting or corporate finance roles with a focus on financial accounting. Demonstrated expertise in double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and financial report writing. Proven experience working with SOX compliance procedures and regulatory reporting requirements. Strong familiarity with GAAP standards as well as specific knowledge of governmental accounting practices and non-profit sector regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and other financial management tools. Experience conducting financial analysis including cash flow analysis, account reconciliation, budget variance analysis, and financial statement interpretation. Knowledge of securities law considerations related to financial disclosures is a plus. Ability to analyze complex financial concepts quickly while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.
