Job Description

Accountant - Position Overview As our Accountant , you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions for our real estate portfolio. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and financial reports. Process payroll bi-weekly in iSolved. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. Track rental income, operating expenses, and property budgets. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Work closely with property managers to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate reporting. Prepare reports for management, tax professionals, and auditors. Maintain organized financial records and electronic filing systems. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in QuickBooks . Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office , especially: Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in real estate or property management accounting is preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
