Type:

full-time We are seeking a professional Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Greenwood, SC . This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a full cycle accounting role and will have strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities:

Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash and other critical accounts Prepare, review, and post journal entries accurately and timely Calculate and record revenue, accruals, and other adjusting entries Process and reconcile daily banking activity Monitor fund and grant activity, balances, and reporting requirements Review general ledger transactions and investigate discrepancies Support month-end and year-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting Assist with oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct accounting periods and funding categories Prepare reconciliations and documentation to support internal and external audits Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant experience Strong general ledger accounting and account reconciliation experience Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting support Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently Experience with nonprofit, fund accounting, grant accounting, public accounting, or corporate accounting environments is a plus

Hours:

Monday to Friday (8:00am -4:30pm OR 8:30 am-5:00pm)

Compensation & Benefits:

$65,000 - $72,000 Medical, Dental, Vision 401K PTO Permanent/Direct Hire Position
