Full-time, onsite $75k-$85k Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Cost Accountant to support daily accounting operations, cost analysis, financial close activities, tax filings, audits, and project-based accounting. This role requires strong SAP experience and a background in cost accounting within a corporate, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or project-based environment. Key Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. Analyze project and operational costs, variances, accruals, and financial performance. Enter and maintain accurate financial transactions and cost data in SAP. Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and file sales and use tax returns. Support percentage-of-completion accounting and project revenue recognition activities. Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual external audits. Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, and special accounting projects. Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting required. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience required. Hands-on SAP experience required. Percentage-of-completion accounting knowledge preferred; training can be provided. Experience in a corporate, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or project-based environment required. Candidates with experience limited primarily to a public accounting firm will not be considered. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and cost accounting practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines accurately.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
