Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based at Grace Meadows Farm in Jonesborough, TN. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Senior Accountant to join our team and manage day-to-day accounting functions for a group of locally owned businesses, primarily in the restaurant/hospitality and construction industries. This is a hands-on accounting position for someone who enjoys keeping financial information accurate, organized, and current. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, financial reporting, tax filings, and maintaining accurate accounting records across multiple business entities. This position is 100% in-office and will work closely witj ownership and senior management. Qualifications Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting and account reconciliation. Knowledge of applicable acciunting standards, Familiarity with tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal controls relevant to a small business. Proficiency with quickbooks online, spreadsheets, and payroll platforms. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, service-oriented environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with owners, managers, and operational staff. Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred; CPA or CMA equivalent certification is a plus. Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, ideally within small business environments, is highly beneficial.
