Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support core accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records for the organization in Pulaski, Tennessee. This role will contribute to the monthly close process, oversee account activity across the general ledger, and ensure timely completion of reconciliations and reporting tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close cycle by preparing and reviewing financial entries, account analyses, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger by recording transactions and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare journal entries with appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances to confirm the integrity of financial data.
  • Complete bank reconciliations regularly and follow up on outstanding items to keep cash records current.
  • Support accounts payable activities by reviewing transactions, reconciling vendor-related balances, and assisting with issue resolution.
  • Partner with internal teams to gather financial information, clarify account activity, and improve reporting accuracy.
