Trinity Christian Academy is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable employee to join our community who meets the following criteria: Has a desire to work in a private, Christian, independent, conservative, evangelical college preparatory school Must be a spiritually mature and sensitive individual who is active in their local Christian church whose beliefs are in alignment with TCA's Mission Statement and understands, supports and carries out the mission, philosophy, passion and core values of Trinity Christian Academy and is committed to seeing these Biblical truths become a reality in the lives of our students Exhibits the highest Christian virtue and personal decorum, serving as a Christian role model (1 Timothy 4:12) both in and out of school (Luke 6:40) and as an example to parents and fellow employees in judgment, dignity, respect, and Christian living Has a passion for their areas of specialty, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with parents, alumni and our TCA community Welcomes the opportunity to disciple and mentor students, helping develop godly character in their lives We are seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Business Office, with a start date of July 6, 2026. Trinity Christian Academy is committed to glorifying God through excellence in education and faithful stewardship in all areas of operation, and this role plays a vital part in supporting our financial mission. The Accounts Receivable Accountant will report directly to the Business Office Controller and will be responsible for managing receipt of tuition payments, processing payments for After School Care and related programs, and supporting other Business Office functions as needed. This individual will serve with integrity, professionalism, and a Christ-centered commitment to accuracy, diligence, and wise stewardship of the resources entrusted to our school community. General & Administrative Responsibilities Manage full-cycle tuition billing process in FACTS management system Generate annual tuition agreements in FACTS to match re-enrollment and new enrollment contracts Ensure all enrolled students are committed to a payment plan Apply remission benefits, tuition aid awards, and Academic Resource Center charges to accounts in FACTS as appropriate Process tuition payments timely in FACTS Monitor aging reports and proactively contact delinquent accounts Provide account support Calculate and process refunds in accordance with refund policy Manage After-School Care billing process in ProCare system. Review billing data and process monthly after-school care invoices Monitor aging reports and proactively contact delinquent accounts. Provide account support Support other Business Office functions as needed Assist with month-end journal entries and account reconciliations Provide support during annual external audit Assist with departmental filing Perform additional job duties as directed by supervisor Demonstrate the fruits of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) in daily work, and interactions with colleagues and others Required Education, Experience and Qualifications Degree in Accounting strongly preferred Certified Public Accountant certification is a plus 3+ years' accounting or bookkeeping experience required, preferably in a private Christian school environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) FACTS, ProCare, or Blackbaud system experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective time management and project management skills Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal; able to effectively communicate with colleagues and parents in a professional and friendly manner Ability to solve problems and devise strategies, take initiative and work intuitively, independently, and systematically Trustworthy, honest, respectful, flexible, able to exercise good judgment, and exhibit a calm demeanor Agree with and support TCA's Doctrinal, Biblical and Mission statements and Christian values Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements This position requires regular and predictable attendance The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Traverse across buildings and multiple terrains on 40+ acre campus to attend meetings, attend campus events, and check status and updates of multiple campus projects Ability to work in a semi-open office setting with frequent in-person interaction and numerous interruptions Occasional lifting up to 25 pound Able to see and hear in a normal range with or without correction Maintain emotional control under stress
