$80,000-$160,000 annually , depending on experience, credentials, and qualifications, plus bonus opportunity. An established and growing public accounting firm is expanding its tax team and is seeking both Tax Accountants and Tax Managers . This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team that provides year-round tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of individuals and privately held businesses. What You'll Do Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns. Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients. Research federal and state tax matters and develop practical solutions. Build long-term client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor. Respond to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence. Collaborate with partners and team members to successfully manage multiple client engagements. Mentor and develop junior staff (Tax Manager level). Support business development and strengthen existing client relationships (Tax Manager level). Qualifications Tax Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Two or more years of public accounting tax experience. Experience preparing individual and business tax returns. CPA license or progress toward CPA certification is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and client service skills. Tax Manager Five or more years of public accounting tax experience. Experience reviewing complex tax returns and leading client engagements. Strong tax research and planning experience. CPA license preferred. Experience supervising or mentoring team members. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Preferred Experience Individual, business, trust, and nonprofit taxation. Tax planning and advisory services. Experience working with privately held businesses. QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and professional tax software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
