Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. CPA certification preferred but not required.
