The company manages multiple entities and assets across the real estate, construction, and aviation industries. This position will work closely with our existing accountant and management team to maintain accurate financial records, support reporting activities, and assist with tax compliance and financial analysis. Job Responsibilities Prepare and perform the filing of federal, state, and local business tax returns and other required tax filings. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account analysis. Assist with tracking and managing business expenses, vendor payments, and outstanding receivables. Assist with gathering documentation and schedules for tax reporting and compliance. Maintain organized accounting records and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions. Assist with internal audits and maintain accounting controls and procedures. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field. 2+ years of professional accounting experience. Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite products. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams. Ability to handle confidential financial information. Preferred Qualifications (strongly encouraged not required) CPA license Experience assisting with business tax preparation and filings. Familiarity with accounting software and process improvement initiatives. Prior experience working in a CPA firm Fluent in Spanish as a second
