What You Will Do Prepare and input journal entries with accurate support and documentation
Complete account reconciliations and help resolve variances or outstanding items
Support close activities
Assist with general ledger accounting tasks and related financial reporting support
Help strengthen and document accounting processes, templates, and procedures
Collaborate with accounting, finance, actuarial, and other business partners as work transitions into the centralized accounting team
Manage assigned tasks, while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail What We Are Looking For Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent professional accounting experience may be considered
Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in general accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, or close support
Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts, including debits, credits, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
Ability to work accurately in a deadline-driven close environment
Comfortable taking direction, asking thoughtful questions, and following work through completion
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up
Ability to collaborate well with team members and cross-functional business partners Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP or another ERP system
Experience with BlackLine or other reconciliation tools
Insurance, financial services, or regulated industry experience
Exposure to quarterly reporting, financial statement support, or statutory accounting activities
