As a core member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting tasks, and ensuring our books are balanced each month. A key component of this role involves partnering directly with our manufacturers in China, requiring fluency in Mandarin. You will work closely with our General Manager and cross-train with our Operations team to ensure seamless financial workflows as we transition our accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP) &
Overseas Coordination:
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices. Act as the primary financial liaison with our manufacturing partners in China to reconcile AP, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
Bookkeeping:
Maintain the general ledger, record daily financial transactions, and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send client invoices, record incoming payments, and track/follow up on past-due accounts. (
Note:
Our Operations team member serves as a backup for AP/AR functions).
Monthly Reconciliations:
Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts at the end of each month to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
System Migration:
Assist management in the upcoming migration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online (QBO), ensuring data integrity throughout the transition.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing month-end and year-end financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Language:
Professional fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and verbal) is strictly required for daily communication with overseas partners.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) with proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
Software:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required. Prior experience assisting with a migration to QuickBooks Online (QBO) is highly preferred. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple monthly deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a tight-knit team environment.
Pay:
$51,425.45 - $70,000.00 per year
