Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Relations and Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role will focus on supporting associate relations while also assisting in accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Associate Relations:
Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure effective communication. Support in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives. Assist in resolving employee inquiries or concerns related to workplace policies, benefits, or work environment. Maintain employee records and confidential information in compliance with company policies. Organize employee recognition programs, events, and team-building activities. Assist in onboarding new employees and coordinating training sessions. Help monitor employee satisfaction and gather feedback for improvement.
Accounting Support:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments. Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets. Handle expense report processing. Assist in auditing processes and financial compliance checks. Help prepare tax filings and supporting documentation for tax season.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, accounting, or HR role.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks Online) is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Additional Skills (Preferred but not required): Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) platforms. Familiarity with payroll processing. Basic knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
Work Environment:
This role will require occasional collaboration with other departments, including HR, Finance, and Operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

From $43,000.00 per year
