Duties Manage and monitor the Accounts Receivable for the company. A/R Forecasting. Lien Waivers. Oversight of the A/P department and matching to A/R Payments. Perform detailed account reconciliation of accounts payable, receivable, and project-specific ledgers. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Foundation for Construction to ensure accurate data entry and reporting. Conduct cash flow analysis to optimize project resource allocation Prepare comprehensive financial reports and interpret data for project managers and executive leadership Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards in all financial processes Support internal audits by providing detailed documentation of financial transactions and account analyses Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cost management strategies, budgeting, and forecasting efforts Perform technical accounting tasks related to revenue recognition, project accruals, and expense allocations within the construction industry context. Proven experience and a background in accounting within the construction industry is highly favored. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis is essential. Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles, debits & credits, and ERP systems integration Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across teams Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
