Job Description

Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant supports the accounting team by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with daily accounting operations. This role ensures accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Analyze account variances and resolve discrepancies Assist with financial statements and supporting schedules Support internal and external audits Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Perform other accounting tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-3 years of accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software High attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
