Job Description

This role is for a Staff Accountant who will engage in a variety of accounting activities, including month-end close procedures and financial reporting. The individual will collaborate with different departments to analyze financial information, maintain the general ledger, and oversee daily bank reconciliation activities. This position offers a dynamic environment where adaptability and teamwork are essential for achieving optimal business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Compile and analyze financial information to post entries to general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Maintain the General Ledger and record journal entries to support financial reporting and decision-making. Oversee daily bank reconciliation activities to monitor cash flow and ensure financial integrity. Prepare monthly account reconciliations and process payroll journals in a timely manner. Audit corporate card expenses and perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, providing foundational knowledge in accounting principles. 1-3 years of related work experience, preferably with public company or industry month-end close experience. Strong understanding and ability to read and interpret financial statements, essential for effective analysis. Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook, with practical experience in data analysis and reporting. Experience with Oracle systems, preferably Fusion Cloud, to manage financial data and reporting.
