Open Until Filled Job Description Job Summary Seeking Assistant or Associate Professor in Accounting, tenure track, to teach a variety of face-to-face, hybrid, and online accounting courses. Service responsibilities are also expected including service to the department, college, and university. Ability to bridge relationships between students and the community is preferable. Start date is Spring 2027 or Fall 2027. Applications must be received through UT Tyler HR career page and include a letter of interest, curriculum vita, and an official copy of highest degree earned transcript. Key Responsibilities Teaching accounting courses face to face, hybrid, and online. Carry out a program of research. Collaborate with faculty, students, and business practitioners. Maintain regular on-campus presence. Attend departmental meetings. Required Qualifications Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited program. ABD candidates will be considered if completion is imminent. Candidate will provide evidence of strong research and teaching skills, including experience in and willingness to teach online and hybrid courses. Preferred Qualifications All areas of accounting emphasis are welcome. Candidates with current certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) are also preferred.
