NextStep Recruiting has partnered with an incredible organization to identify a Staff Accountant in Weatherford, TX. This contract-to-hire position is 100% onsite and will work closely with the Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working as part of a small, collaborative team and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently while serving as a key accounting resource across the organization.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Manufacturing Industry experience is required 2+ years of accounting experience including month-end close, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting Hands-on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience Previous accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Strong Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs/lookup functions, pivot tables, and reporting Experience working within a large ERP system and the ability to operate effectively in a manual, detail-intensive accounting environment

Preferred:
