Job Description The Young Automotive Group is Growing Again! Our Young Automotive Group central office is seeking a motivated Powersports Staff Accountant to join our team! As a Staff Accountant on our Powersports team, you will play an important role in supporting dealership operations through accurate financial reporting, account reconciliation , and day-to-day accounting functions. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. 1 Responsibilities Perform daily accounting functions including reconciliations journal entries and account analysis. Assist with monthly quarterly and year-end closing processes. Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance. Support dealership managers with financial insights and reporting. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Collaborate with accounting leadership to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Assist with audits budgets and forecasting as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field (preferred). 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred (dealership or powersports industry experience is a plus). Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Lightspeed or dealership accounting systems is a bonus). High attention to detail organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
