Exempt Reports To:

Controller Position Overview The Property Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing property-level financials and supporting related accounting activities. This role focuses on accurate monthly reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and coordination with internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly financial statements for assigned properties Review general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations Analyze variances versus budget and prior periods and resolve discrepancies Review bank reconciliations, cash activity, and construction draw support Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare supporting schedules for audits and tax filings Assist with annual audits and respond to auditor and tax preparer requests Ensure compliance with partnership agreements, loan covenants, and internal policies Serve as accounting point of contact for assigned properties Coordinate with property management and internal teams on financial matters Assist with process improvements and documentation Support special projects and additional accounting initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of accounting experience Prior property or real estate accounting experience preferred Solid knowledge of

U.S. GAAP
