Job Description
Performs skilled technical work and calculations necessary to process payroll, leave, and benefits accurately and timely. Provide customer service and maintain records required to satisfy all statutory regulations in regards to payroll processing.~ Review personnel actions entered into the payroll system for correctness ~ Gather all time files. Accurately code, using complicated calculations; efficiently key; prepare time system uploads when necessary; and, verify that all time files are entered accurately and in compliance with FLSA and organizational policies. ~ Review payroll vendor reports for updates, make adjustments in the system as needed, make any payments that are required and perform reconciliations from the payroll system to those reports ~ Responsible for timely communication to departments of accurate payroll related information ~ Works closely with Human Resources personnel to verify the accuracy of data ~ Answers telephone inquiries from employees, human resource departments, and administration on payroll related issues and the public concerning verifications of employment
