Full-time/ Direct Hire Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives on autonomy and strategic impact The Accountant is more than a record-keeper; you are a critical contributor to our Finance Department. We are looking for a forward-thinking professional to own the integrity of our financial data from transaction through reporting. You will bridge the gap between daily operations and executive-level insight, ensuring our leadership team clearly understands the "why" behind the numbers. Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Ownership:
Manage the accuracy of the GL, including journal entries, reconciliations, and a disciplined month-end close.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review complex balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to ensure they are timely and defensible.
•
Strategic Analysis:
Analyze costs, revenues, and margins to support forecasting and planning. Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
•
Communication:
Translate operational activity into financial outcomes, explaining variances in plain language to non-finance leaders.
•
Process Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement of accounting systems, internal controls, and manual workflows.
•
Compliance:
Serve as the lead point of contact for internal/external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax requirements. Requirements

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
•
Experience:
4+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience (Manufacturing or Regulated Environment experience preferred).
•
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Analysis) and experience with QuickBooks or Sage.
•
