Robert Half Finance and Accounting is working with an established organization based in Trophy Club, Texas on a search for a Senior Accounting Manager. This role will guide reporting, planning, and compliance activities while partnering with operational leaders to strengthen performance and support sound business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to improve financial visibility across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
• Work closely with divisional leadership to analyze financial performance, identify opportunities to improve margins, and support cost management efforts.
• Oversee the annual budgeting cycle and maintain regular forecasting for several sites to support planning and resource allocation.
• Manage core accounting activities, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and timely period-end close.
• Develop and reinforce internal control practices that support policy adherence, financial integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Track cash flow, working capital, and liquidity trends, and recommend actions that strengthen the division's financial position.
• Partner with external auditors by organizing documentation, responding to requests, and supporting the successful completion of audit activities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team by setting clear expectations, coaching performance, and promoting process improvements.
• Utilize financial systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency, improve data quality, and strengthen decision-making support.
