Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly closing activities by preparing schedules, reviewing financial data, and helping ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate support while maintaining accuracy across the general ledger.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis and investigate discrepancies to resolution.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items to keep cash records current and accurate.
- Maintain the integrity of financial records by reviewing transactions, identifying variances, and correcting posting issues as needed.
- Support day-to-day accounting operations through detailed analysis and documentation of account activity.
- Use QuickBooks and related accounting tools to manage entries, reconciliations, and financial information efficiently.
