Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CFO on day-to-day accounting functions and contribute to accurate, timely financial management.
- Prepare and record journal entries while maintaining the integrity of general ledger activity.
- Complete bank and account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Apply and post cash receipts accurately to ensure current and reliable financial records.
- Guide accounts payable operations by reviewing workflow, supporting issue resolution, and helping maintain processing accuracy.
- Produce recurring financial statements and related reports for leadership review and decision-making.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including balance sheet review and supporting documentation.
- Support payroll-related accounting tasks and help ensure proper recording of compensation expenses.
