Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and assist with timely accounts payable activities.
- Support customer billing and cash application tasks while helping maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Prepare and post routine journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies to keep cash records accurate and up to date.
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize financial data, analyze variances, and prepare accounting schedules.
- Assist with month-end close activities by gathering information, updating records, and supporting reporting needs.
