Role Overview As part of a premium ski brand, you'll deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting the business with accurate, detail‑driven light accounting tasks. You'll be the voice and face of a company known for performance, heritage, and mountain lifestyle excellence. Customer Service Responsibilities (60%) Premium Brand Experience — Deliver concierge-level service that reflects Stöckli's handcrafted quality and elite performance standards. Product Expertise — Guide B2B and B2C customers in both the US and Canada through ski model selection, construction differences and performance characteristics across Stöckli's lineup. Order & Warranty Management — End to end processing of orders - track shipments, manage returns, and coordinate warranty claims with precision and empathy. Communication with Warehouses - Assist in the communication and oversight of both the US and Canadian warehouses to maintain smooth uninterrupted shipping to B2B and B2C customers. Customer Relationship Building — Maintain long-term relationships with loyal Stöckli customers, including high-end buyers and repeat seasonal clients by taking incoming and making out going sales calls and emails. Light Accounting (AP) Responsibilities (30%) Entering Invoices — Enter vendor and customer invoices accurately to support smooth shop, retail partner, and service operations. Routing Invoices for Approval — Route invoices to the appropriate internal approvers and track status to keep purchasing and service workflows moving. Communicating Discrepancies — Identify and communicate payment or billing discrepancies with Customer Service, the Accounting Manager, and customers to maintain clarity and trust. Preparing Reports — Prepare routine accounting reports, including payment summaries, aging updates, and reconciliation snapshots that support retail, service, and seasonal sales planning. Daily Office Management (10%) Mail Handling — Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail; scan and forward documents to the appropriate team members. Outbound Shipments — Arrange couriers and manage outgoing mail or small office shipments. Office Supplies & IT Coordination — Maintain office supply inventory and serve as the point person for IT needs, coordinating with external IT support as required. Building & Facilities Support — Schedule repairs, oversee cleaning staff, maintain visitor logs, and support general facility upkeep. Key Skills & Competencies Customer Service & Light Accounting Experience — 2-4 years of experience in customer service and/or basic accounting, ideally in a product or outdoor‑focused environment. Communication Skills — Clear, warm, and confident communication with customers and partners. Detail Orientation — Essential for both accounting accuracy and product guidance. Multitasking — Ability to shift smoothly between customer interactions and financial tasks. Software Proficiency — Solid, hands‑on experience with Excel, Outlook, and other core Office tools used in daily operations. Familiarity with ERP systems and frontend website software is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is a plus. Organizational Strength — Excellent ability to manage tasks, documentation, and seasonal workflow demands. Strong eye for accuracy, time management, and clean recordkeeping. Collaborative Problem‑Solving — A team‑oriented mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues across customer service, accounting, and operations. Outdoor Industry Knowledge — General understanding of the outdoor industry, with priority given to applicants who have a passion for skiing and mountain culture.
