Job DescriptionJob Description We're a small but growing bookkeeping and accounting firm that prides itself on personalized service, attention to detail, and strong relationships with our clients. We work primarily with small businesses and startups across a variety of industries. Our team is collaborative, supportive, and passionate about helping our clients succeed. We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our clients, assisting with month-end processes, and supporting bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients in a flexible and friendly environment.

Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare monthly financial reports Assist with payroll processing and sales tax filings Support the team during month-end and year-end close Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting Software Strong understanding of GAAP principles High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
