Federal Way ________________________________________ Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and team-focused Full-Time Accountant to join our growing team. This role is critical to our daily financial operations and will be responsible for managing all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable invoicing, and various related accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience, job costing expertise (construction experience a strong plus), and hands-on experience with batch-oriented accounting software. This is not an entry-level position—we are looking for someone who understands accounting fundamentals, can manage multiple responsibilities, and takes pride in accuracy and accountability. ________________________________________

In person Minimum Requirements (Must Have to Be Considered) To be considered for this position, you MUST have: An Associate's degree or certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping, OR 3+ years of prior bookkeeping experience Experience with all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Strong job costing experience (construction job cost experience a strong plus) Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with batch-oriented accounting software such as MAS90, Sage 100 ERP, Spectrum, or Forefront (QuickBooks experience alone is not sufficient) Strong analytical skills and high-volume data entry accuracy Excellent organizational skills Ability and desire to learn new procedures and systems Ability to pass a background check Extremely strong attention to detail A personable attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities The Accountant will ultimately be responsible for: Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Handling all aspects of Accounts Payable Managing invoicing and related functions through Accounts Receivable Ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and customer billing General Ledger Accounting Working confidently with GL accounts Understanding debits and credits Maintaining accurate financial records Batch-Oriented Accounting Systems Processing accounting transactions using batch-oriented software (MAS90, Sage 100, Spectrum, Forefront, etc.) Ensuring proper posting and reconciliation of batches Job Costing Tracking, allocating, and analyzing job costs Supporting project-based accounting functions Ensuring accurate cost allocation and reporting Must have the ability to train into the following - Payroll & Tax Reporting Processing payroll and preparing payroll tax reporting Reporting payroll taxes through the
IRS EFTPS
