THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS AN ACCOUNTANT
As the Accountant, you'll serve as a critical financial and operational partner across the organization. Your day may begin by reviewing employee timesheets, calculating commissions, bonuses, and payroll adjustments to ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll processing before shifting your attention to accounts payable tasks, invoice processing, and vendor communications. Throughout the day, you'll reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, maintain organized digital accounting records, and collaborate with external accounting partners to provide documentation and resolve questions. You'll also assist with month-end and year-end close activities, generate financial reports for leadership, coordinate funding requests with operations teams, review project records for accuracy, distribute daily management reports, and help manage company-issued technology equipment. Through every responsibility, you'll play an essential role in maintaining financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and organizational success.
OUR IDEAL ACCOUNTANT
We're looking for a finance professional with fantastic organizational skills who can meet the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting or related experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and QuickBooks Online Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while meeting deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial and employee information
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience processing payroll, including commissions, bonuses, and incentive pay Experience with ServiceTitan Experience supporting month-end close activities Experience within the home services or trades industry
