  • 6 Months Job description Implements, maintains and documents effective internal controls and processes.
Identifies and resolves accounting system issues and identifies process improvements. Develops new accounting systems and tools. Analyzes, interprets, prepares and reconciles financial information. Prepares standard and ad hoc internal and external financial reports for management. Reviews and analyzes relevant contract terms, conditions and accounting source document. Reviews, analyzes and interprets company directives, policies and regulatory requirements. Establishes, monitors, maintains and reviews internal control systems and documentation for compliance.
  • Position responsibilities: Processing payroll on a regular basis (e.g., bi-weekly).
  • Calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll elements.
  • Maintaining and updating employee payroll information in the system.
  • Providing training and support to employees on proper time entry procedures and monitoring for timely and accurate timekeeping.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Preparing and submitting payroll tax filings and reports.
  • Handling and resolving employee inquiries and discrepancies related to payroll.
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation.
  • Generating and distributing payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
  • Staying updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and administration.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
