Project Accountant Role:
Manage project setup, financial tracking, and maintenance within the accounting system. Collaborate with Project Managers on billing, accounts receivable, and project financial reporting. Review contracts, subcontracts, and change documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Oversee subcontractor compliance requirements and process vendor payments. Support project teams throughout the project lifecycle, including reconciliations and project closeout activities. Qualifications for the
Project Accountant:
3+ years of experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or general ledger accounting. Strong reconciliation, reporting, and contract administration experience. Experience with construction ERP systems; Vista/Viewpoint experience is a plus. Knowledge of public sector construction projects is highly valued.
