We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to support a manufacturing company in Washington. This Contract-to-permanent position focuses on analyzing production costs, maintaining accurate cost records, and helping the business make informed financial decisions through reliable reporting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment and can work effectively across operations and finance teams.

Responsibilities:

Manage project billing, including milestone and cost-based invoicingPrepare month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and GL analysisPerform budget reviews, variance analysis, and financial reporting supportQuery and analyze financial data within Epicor ERPMaintain and reconcile project costs, WIP, and related accounting schedulesAssist with template manipulation and ad hoc financial reportingPartner with operations and leadership to ensure accurate project and cost reporting
