PAYMENT AND PERMITTING SPECIALIST
The Role Miller Marriott is a growing design-build and land development company located in Delafield, Wisconsin. The company strives to celebrate each client's uniqueness and provide personalized value and beauty to each home we build. Miller Marriott lends expertise in real estate, land entitlement, and custom home design at multiple levels to provide end-to-end solutions for any client. The company has a talented team of licensed architects, interior designers, and seasoned construction managers unified in creating quality, classically designed homes. Applicants for this position should have prior experience in accounts payable and receivable. Effective coordination with internal departments, including sales, architecture, and construction, is critical for success in this role. The position requires a self-sufficient professional who can manage multiple client accounts throughout the design and construction process. Strong organizational skills are essential for excelling in this role. The Responsibilities Project draw processing, including change order billing (50% of weekly time) Proficient in accounts payable/receivable/credit card management and cash reporting (20% of weekly time) Ability to manage and execute project permitting (20% of weekly time) Print and file invoices Manage accounts payable for all companies/LLCs under the Miller Marriott umbrella Bank deposits/post office runs Daily mail processing Location is at the front desk to greet clients and notify the team of arrival for meetings Collaborative team player who adheres to established processes Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong administrative skills QuickBooks experience preferred Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently within a dynamic and fluid design process. Skilled at navigating changing project scopes, client needs, and evolving industry trends. Strong ability to communicate effectively through multiple channels to ensure clarity and alignment. Construction industry experience is a bonus.Pay:
