CnD Specialties, Inc. is looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting if you are a recent graduate or current student in the accounting field while supporting a diverse family of businesses, including retail/convenience stores, restaurants, catering, and our well-known meat market. What You'll Do As an Entry-Level Accountant, you'll help keep our financial operations running smoothly by assisting with: General ledger accounting and journal entries Accounts payable and accounts receivable Bank and account reconciliations Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities Financial reporting and recordkeeping Intercompany transactions and expense tracking Maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Administrative support, filing, correspondence, and document management Other accounting and office duties as assigned You'll work closely with company owners, managers, and team members across our organization to help ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient business operations. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Detail-oriented and highly organized Honest, dependable, and trustworthy Positive with a strong work ethic Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Eager to learn and grow professionally Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys helping others Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Recent graduates and current students are encouraged to apply! Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word Familiarity with accounting software is preferred Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Schedule Full-time or Part-Time (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday) Weekend availability Physical Requirements This position involves typical office work, including extended computer use, occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary.
